Summertime (Sweden)

Jag kände mig idag som ett missfoster när jag gick genom stan. Jag var utstirrad, betraktad och följd i vartenda steg. Folk rynkade på näsan, några vände bort blicken och jag kände att jag verkligen inte tillhörde några av de sociala normer som samhället ställt upp.

Varför?

Karln är genialisk, rolig, pedagogisk och verkar vara lättillgänglig. Hans sommarprogram i P1 som jag nyligen tankat hem som podcast var så roligt att jag vid flera tillfällen var tvungen att vrålgarva rätt ut.

Inte undra på att folk stirrade på busstorget eller på Domus eller på gågatan eller vid Eightball (där jag faktiskt var tvungen att ta tag i en stolpe för att hålla i mig för att inte trilla omkull i en blöt pöl av flabb).

Jag bröt många sociala normer - och det bjuder jag på Östersund. Jag är killen som skrattar - live with it!

Atmosphere (Sweden)

Just breathe in, just feel the air filling your lungs. Just feel the ambience with it. Doesn't it truly fill your chest as well?

These last few days has been amazing really. You can really tell all the exams are coming up - not just because of all the hats running around town screaming "Where's your hat at?!" but because it's summertime and the buzz is really about.

I'm happy as well, I got many friends graduating and after three years of intensive studies you're allowed to get freakazoid during a week - it's nothing strange really. Just enter flip-mode and go!

Even though I sometimes both think and say "oh I wish I was THE ONE graduating" I'm just really truly happy that it isn't me! I'm happy to have moved on to become an adult, more or less responsible (I leave that one to your judgement) and self-going.

Budapest, Berlin and Canada - here I come!

Dirty Drums (London)

With only a couple of days left in London, with emphasis on couple since there's actually only two - things are starting to fall in to place sort of.

I'm leaving this adventure for a new one at home - I'm leaving my friends here for now to go see all my friends at home! Everything just seems so close to reality - this is going to happen!

I went out for dinner with Kristine yesterday and had both a lovely meal and a lovely time. As I rode the bus home this little gem popped up on my iPod - a song that I had momentarily forgotten all about!



Breathe in all that luscious love - because this has got to be one of the greatest lovesongs ever.
